MEET THE PASTOR

PASTOR YOLANDA D. TYSON

Prophetic Spiritual Leader, Pastor Yolanda D. Tyson has risen to prominence by ministering the gospel of Christ with high energy and great enthusiasm! At the tender age of nine, she displayed the gift of healing and prophecy. At eighteen, this young woman of God was “called” to evangelize throughout the nation, which she did faithfully with diligence for almost twenty years before being ordained as the founder and pastor of The Cathedral of Love Church in Detroit, Michigan.

The vision of winning souls for the Lord began to unfold. As a humble vessel of God, Pastor Yolanda Tyson has been anointed to draw thousands of people who have dedicated their lives to lifting and worshiping our Savior Jesus Christ. They have been healed, saved, and delivered under this great ministry of God and continue serve in His army and magnify His almighty name! Pastor Tyson not only teaches the gospel with high-spirited delivery, but she is gifted to demonstrate the bibles practicality on easy-to-understand terms that can be applied to Christian daily living.

All the while, Pastor Tyson professes that she is only “a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save anybody!” As a reward to this loyal servant, the Lord has engulfed this ministry with his unmerited favor. Miraculous healings have taken place, blinded eyes and deaf ears have been opened, and limbs have grown. STATEMENT OF FAITH (WHAT WE BELIEVE)

The Cathedral of Love

Our Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the authoritative, inerrant and infallible word of God.

We believe in one God, omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, eternally existent as God, the Father Almighty, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Ghost, which are all one.

We believe in Jesus Christ, the only Begotten of the Father and the only Savior. We believe in his miraculous conception by the Holy Ghost, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, and His sufferings.

We believe in His vicarious and atoning death to accomplish the salvation of man, His burial and His bodily resurrection on the third day, according to the scriptures.

We believe in His ascension into heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God, the father Almighty, forever making intercession for all who would come to God.

We believe that there is one Lord, One Faith and One Baptism.

We believe that the whole purpose of man is to glorify God and to be His good pleasure. Yet, man is sinful and is separated from God by his sin. Man is saved from the consequences of sin and brought into fellowship with God by experiencing the New Birth. This New birth is accomplished by believing in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38)

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues is the gift of God to all believers who receive him and who ask for it. (Acts 2:4)

We believe in the resurrection of all that is righteous to have eternal life with Jesus Christ.
